When recipes are written they assume you are using unsalted butter. That is done so you can control the salt in your recipe. If you are using salted butter cut the salt in your recipe by half, for baked recipes. Salt acts as a flavor enhancer and a preservative in baked goods.

Base
 1 cup Softened, Unsalted Butter
 1 cup Sugar
 1 cup Brown Sugar
 2 Large Eggs
 1 ½ tsp Vanilla
 ½ tsp Danbury Country Store Salt
 1 tsp baking powder
 1 ½ tsp Danbury Country Store Cinnamon
 2 ½ cups Shifted Flour
Topping
 ¼ cup Sugar
 2 tsp Danbury Country Store Cinnamon
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, Lightly grease/oil 13 x 9 baking pan.

Combine eggs, sugars and butter in a bowl. Mix well until fully mixed and a light yellow in color.

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl and then add to the wet mixture, stir well.

Pour mixture into prepared baking sheet.

Top with topping mixture.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and middle is cooked through.
