Nutrition Tidbit from Audrey
There are many people who have an intolerance to gluten and a small number who have an allergy to it. However, if it does not make you feel your best, don’t eat it, whether you have an allergy or not. These brownies are a great substitute and once you have all the ingredients on hand they are easy to whip up a batch. Be careful that you do not think gluten free is the same as calorie free. It is not, so enjoy these delicious brownies but enjoy them as a treat.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees if using a convection oven, 350 if a regular oven.
Grease and Line an 8x* pan, if doubling the recipe use a 9 x 12 pan.
Melt the chocolate and butter.
Mix the sugar and egg together and then add the other ingredients.
Mix well and then add the slightly cooled chocolate mixture.
Mix until all ingredients are blended.
Pour into pan and bake for twenty minutes and then check every five minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center.
Do not overbake.
Once the brownies have slightly cooled, remove from pan and then finish cooling. Enjoy!
